1. The school year consists of 12 months, with summer activities in June &
July. The Fees charged are based on a 12-month program. However, the academy will keep a space for registered children that
do not come in June & July, with a nonrefundable holding fee of $150 per family.
2. The school is closed on holidays (see School Calendar) and from Christmas
Eve to the day after New Years Day.
3. Breakfast is served daily until 8:00 AM. During the rest of the day,
lunch and two snacks are given.
4. The Mona Montessori closes at 6:30 PM and McKinney Montessori closed
at 6:00 PM; there is a late pick-up fee of $1.00/Minute.
5. Tuition is due on the 1st of each month or each Monday
for weekly payment. A late fee of $25 is charged for late payments. Returned checks will be charged a $25 fee. Split payments
must be pre-approved.
6. The school reserves the right to schedule part-time students depending
on space availability.
7. Tuition will not be pro-rated for any absence, vacation or illness,
as the space is held for the child.
8. In case of inclement weather, the school will close if the independent
school district closes, and open when they do. We will attempt to inform you by telephone or through the local radio station.
9. Two (2) weeks written notice should be given to withdraw.
10. The parents or guardians will pay collection charges incurred by the
school for delinquent accounts.
11. Mona Montessori reserves the right to change any part of the fee schedule.
CHILD PICKUP RULES
1. Parent must inform the teacher or the Director
if anyone else will pick the child, even though the person picking the child may be on the authorized list. We will require
seeing a picture ID (Driver License) before releasing the child.
2. Parents must NOT disclose the front door pin
code to any other person even though that person may be authorized to pick the child. We will open the door when the person
is at the front door.
3. Parents must authorize only one person. If
more than one person is asked to pick, this will create confusion.
